The Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of the Ghana Police Service has received six vehicles and office equipment worth 185,000 dollars from the International Organisation on Migration (IOM) in Accra. The presentation was to support the unit in its rescuing operations in the Volta, Central and Greater Accra regions. Minister of the Interior, Mr. Ambrose Dery, has reviewed the protracted curfew on the Bimbilla Community from 4:00pm to 6:00am hours with immediate effect, following the sporadic gunfire on Thursday, February 9, which claimed 10 lives.
